Resources

The Tomball Kings provide competitive baseball opportunities for homeschooled student-athletes. We also offer classes and other training programs open to all student-athletes.

Most of our players live in the northwest quadrant of the Greater Houston area, including Tomball, Cypress, Spring, Katy, The Woodlands, Magnolia, Montgomery, Conroe, and northwest Houston. We welcome players from anywhere in the area, however, so long as they can reliably make the drive to our practice and training facilities and games.

Whether you are new to the Kings or a veteran player or family, we offer these resources to help you make the most of your experience with our programs:

Baseball programs guide

See our baseball programs guide to learn about our seasons and seasonal priorities, playing ages and grades, operating divisions, and programs for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Eligibility guide

Many of our classes and other programs are open to all student-athletes. In order to play baseball on a Tomball Kings roster, however, each student-athlete must be homeschooled, in good academic standing, and meet other requirements. Read our eligibility guide to learn more about eligibility to play on a Tomball Kings roster.

Facilities

Our high school teams practice and play their home games at the Premier Baseball of Texas Sports Complex. All other teams practice at The Farm League Park. See our facilities guide for addresses and directions.

Fitness standards

Beginning with the 2024 spring baseball season, we will implement physical fitness standards for all players on Kings rosters, from ages six through eighteen. Meeting these standards will help our players perform at their best, avoid injury and illness, and obtain lifelong health benefits.

Nutrition is an important part of fitness. Read our guide "Weight gain for young athletes" for more information about sound nutritional planning.

Instructional videos

We curate a list of instructional videos for use by our coaches and players. Each of these videos teaches sounds methods, practices, and habits to promote competitive athletic performance, and helps to reinforce what we teach at practices.

Game conduct, decorum, and protocols guide

We cherish the families and guests that attend our games. So that we may always show the greatest honor and respect for all who make these games possible, including our hosts, leagues, game officials, opponents, please read and follow our game conduct, decorum, and protocols guide.

Playing time policy

Please read our playing time policy to learn more about how we balance our need to develop players with our goal to field the most competitive teams we possibly can.

Dress code and uniform requirements

Preparing student-athletes for success in later life is one of our highest values. Through the Tomball Kings dress code and uniform requirements (to take effect with the 2024 spring season) we seek to promote a positive image of Kings student-athletes and to instill in each of them an awareness of and respect for the need to dress appropriately for life’s innumerable and varied occasions.

For ordering jerseys and hats, you will also find our uniform sizing guide helpful.

For fall 2023 and prior seasons, please refer to these uniform standards, which will be deprecated at the conclusion of the fall 2023 season.

Players with high school game jerseys should read our PDF guide for caring for the jerseys:
