Train this winter with the Tomball Kings
To prepare for spring baseball, Tomball Kings varsity players will be getting together regularly during December and January to practice and train, and invite younger Kings athletes as well as other homeschool baseball players, ages ten and up, to join them.
The players schedule these sessions and determine the training focus, with coaches serving as facilitators of what the players wish to emphasize at each session. Workouts will vary from fielding work at one or more local fields to long-toss sessions, and from speed work on the track to bullpen.
Generally these sessions have no costs associated with them. From time to time the players will arrange indoor work or sessions with specialized coaches for which a modest fee, e.g., $10 to $15, may be required.
The Kings organization asks that athletes who wish to participate in these winter sessions who did not participate in fall training sign our standard liability waiver and pay our annual program fee of $20, so that they may be included under our insurance coverage.
The players will hold their first session this Saturday, December 14, 2019, 10:00 AM to 12 noon, at the Montgomery Little League field.
For more information please contact the Kings at support@tomballkings.org or call John Harris at 512-470-0915.
We will announce other sessions as requested by the varsity players.
