Newton Performance

Unlock your next level. Newton is a high-impact training system developed by Tomball Kings and Missing Element Sports, delivered at Texas Sports Medicine Center.

Newton Performance
Retired NFL player Mister Alexander, co-founder of Missing Element Sports, teaches Houston-area high school athletes in the Newton program at Texas Sports Medicine Center on Monday, August 4, 2025.

Newton's precision-based, athlete development program is grounded in biomechanics, movement science, and results-driven coaching.

Our name honors Sir Isaac Newton, the scientist and mathematician who first defined the physical laws of inertia, force, and action/reaction underlying biomechanics and our world more broadly.

We develop speed, power, and resilience from the ground up — through individualized plans, expert instruction, and measurable progress.

Whether you're preparing for a championship season or rebuilding after injury, Newton gives you the tools to take control of your movement — and master it.

Training schedule

We are pleased to announce our inaugural session:

Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays
Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Location: Texas Sports Medicine Center

Tuition

⚡ Explosive Movement & Mechanics

Speed

Top-end linear velocity — how fast an athlete can move over distance. Newton focuses on sprint mechanics, stride efficiency, and force application to maximize raw speed.

Acceleration

The ability to generate speed rapidly from a stop or low velocity. Crucial for first-step quickness in baseball, football, and sprint starts.

Deceleration

Controlled slowing from high speed — essential for injury prevention and quick re-acceleration.

Change of Direction

The ability to shift direction quickly while staying balanced and efficient.

Agility

Efficient, reactive movement that combines balance, coordination, and quickness under pressure.

Quickness

Short-range explosiveness — first-step speed, foot fire, and directional reactivity.

🔋 Power & Strength

Power Output

The combination of strength and speed — or force applied quickly. Essential for jumping, sprinting, throwing, and swinging.

Strength (Absolute & Relative)

Absolute strength is the total force an athlete can produce. Relative strength measures force output per pound of body weight. Both are essential — one builds capacity, the other efficiency.

Rate of Force Development

How fast an athlete can generate force. Critical in explosive movements like sprints, jumps, and swings.

Elasticity

Efficient use of the stretch-shortening cycle — how well an athlete stores and releases energy with each movement.

🧬 Movement Quality

Mobility

Active range of motion through joints, allowing full expression of movement patterns without compensation.

Stability

Control over movement at key joints (hips, shoulders, core) — enables precision under load or speed.

Balance

The ability to stay upright and composed during movement or contact.

Coordination

Timing and control across limbs and body segments — foundational to smooth, effective athletic motion.

💨 Capacity & Recovery

Endurance

Sustained output over time — including aerobic base and repeat sprint ability.

Work Capacity

Total amount of work an athlete can perform in a session or game without breakdown.

Recovery Rate

How quickly an athlete returns to baseline between reps, drills, or games.

🧠 Perception & Processing

Recognition

Pattern identification — like pitch types, defensive alignments, or opponent tendencies.

Anticipation

Reading cues early and responding before action completes — vital for hitters, goalies, and defenders.

Vision

Visual processing skills — tracking, depth perception, peripheral awareness.

Focus

The ability to sustain attention, tune out distraction, and stay engaged under stress.

🛡️ Resilience & Durability

Durability

Resistance to breakdown across seasons — shaped by movement quality, strength, and recovery.

Adaptability

An athlete’s capacity to adjust to new demands, systems, or physical stressors.

Resilience

Physical and mental bounce-back after effort, fatigue, or setbacks.

Body Awareness (Proprioception)

Knowing where your body is in space — critical for injury prevention and control.

🔁 Rotational Power & Control (Integrated)

Power Production

Generating rotational force efficiently, often via the hips and core.

Elastic Sequencing

Stretch–shorten coordination across joints — key to throwing, hitting, or spinning.

Segmental Coordination

Precise timing of legs, hips, trunk, shoulders, and arms to produce fluid, powerful rotation.

Joint Mobility

Thoracic spine, hip, and shoulder mobility — essential for clean and safe rotation.

Dynamic Balance

Maintaining control and power while rotating — especially in single-leg or airborne situations.

Who we train

Newton develops the core drivers of athletic success — force production, movement control, and biomechanical efficiency — for athletes competing at every level.

Our training applies across disciplines, positions, and stages of development:

  • Professional athletes maintaining peak output and extending careers.
  • Collegiate and high school athletes preparing for competition, recruitment, or postseason impact.
  • Youth athletes building strength and skill from the ground up.
  • Olympic and elite amateur athletes mastering control and biomechanics under pressure.
  • Athletes preparing for combines or measurable performance evaluations.
  • Athletes returning from injury, rebuilding strength, confidence, and movement integrity.
  • Adults pursuing lifelong athleticism, improved movement, and long-term healthspan — including executives, parents, and recreational competitors

Whether your sport demands sprinting, hitting, throwing, jumping, tackling, or dribbling — or other athletic capacities — Newton strengthens what drives it.

We train athletes in:

  • Football
  • Soccer
  • Baseball & Softball
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Track & Field
  • And more

Wherever you stand today, Newton is built to power your rise.

Why Newton works

Grounded in Principle

Newton is named for the scientist who defined motion — and every element of our training reflects that foundation. We rely on biomechanics and evidence-based methods to improve how athletes move, generate force, and avoid injury.

Driven by Experience

Our coaching team brings deep experience across disciplines — from youth development to professional preparation. Every athlete receives focused, actionable guidance based on proven principles, not trends or hype.

Built for Athletes

Newton is designed for the real demands of sport. Whether you're sprinting, throwing, lifting, or changing direction — we train the underlying systems that power performance, across sports and stages of development.

The Newton story

Built for breakthroughs in your athletic performance.

Greatness is not a gift. It is a product of motion, force, and mastery — the very elements we train.

At Newton, we believe athletes are built through precision, discipline, and an understanding of the forces that govern performance. Rooted in the laws of motion and forged through deliberate practice, we train athletes to master those forces with intention.

Named for Sir Isaac Newton — whose insights unlocked the physics of our world — we embrace that same spirit of discovery, precision, and purpose. In sports, as in science, motion does not happen by accident. Every stride, every repetition, every decision — they all follow principles.

We train those principles until they become instinct.

This is more than strength and speed. It is the science of force. It is the art of mastery. It is building athletes who move with purpose and power — and understand why they move.

Newton. Where potential becomes performance.

What we value

Mastery of motion

Athletes should understand how they move — not just how fast or how hard. We train for control, precision, and efficiency.

Our approach is rooted in biomechanics and movement science. We rely on fundamentals that hold up under pressure.

Process over hype

Real performance comes from consistent effort and measurable progress. We value the work more than the noise around it.

Coaching with conviction

Our coaches teach with clarity, purpose, and attention to detail. Athletes benefit from experience that stays focused.

Athletes as individuals

No two athletes are the same. We train people — not templates — with plans that reflect each athlete’s unique path.

Meet our coaches
