What we announced Sunday

  • We intend to expand our sports offerings beginning in the 2025–2026 academic year.
  • We asked families to share their interests via a 2-minute survey due by midnight tonight.
  • If you haven’t completed it, please do so today—it directly affects what teams we can form.

Why we’re expanding (and why now)

  • We already offer Baseball and Track & Field—both spring sports—but they don’t cover the full range of interests among homeschool families.
  • Softball is an obvious gap and one of our most requested additions.
  • With this week’s launch of Newton, our sports performance program (in collaboration with Missing Element Sports at Texas Sports Medicine Center), we now have a superb platform to develop elite multi-sport athleticism and support long-term health and fitness.
  • Our colleagues at Missing Element often reference the ten-year training cycle required to reach elite levels; Newton is built to deliver the right training across that entire window—and beyond.

Sports in scope for 2025–2026

  • Football (training this year; competition targeted for 2026–2027)
  • Girls Flag Football (High School) (a top priority for Spring 2026 in Texas)
  • Softball (high demand)
  • Cross Country · Basketball · Soccer · Wrestling · Rugby · Tennis · Lacrosse
  • We also welcome more players for Baseball and Track & Field.

We have access to facilities for all of the sports listed above.

Multi-sport matters here

  • We strongly believe competing in multiple sports best prepares athletes for intercollegiate competition.

Coaches: we need you

We can only form teams where we have volunteer head and assistant coaches. You can indicate coaching interest directly in the survey.
