Tomball Kings 15U

The Tomball Kings 15U division serves players whose playing ages are 15U, 14U, and 13U.

For the 2022-2023 academic year, the term “playing age” means a player’s calendar age as of April 30, 2023.

We offer players in our 15U division opportunities for spring and fall baseball competition, along with year-round classes and other programs for training and skills development. In both the spring and fall seasons, our 15U teams compete in the Spring Klein Baseball League. In the spring season only, our 15U schedule also features interscholastic competition with junior high teams as well as in the local, high-school-prep league.

Spring is the primary, competitive season for our 15U division, featuring league and interscholastic games as well as practices.

During the fall season, we enter 15U teams in league play, but do not practice, in order to allow players to devote time to other fall sports or athletic activities.

All players on a 15U roster, whether for spring or fall, receive roster invitations pursuant to a player evaluation (“tryout”) conducted by our coaches. We do not carry rosters forward from season to season. Prior to each season, we hold an open tryout that welcomes new and returning players to compete for available roster spots.

We will typically have twelve players on a roster for Spring Klein League games. All players on the game roster will bat and no player will sit more than one inning at a time. We may field more than one 15U team in a given season, e.g., “15U Red” and “15U Blue” teams. For interscholastic competition, players have no guarantee of playing time.

Please see our programs guide for additional information concerning our 15U and other divisions. Please see our tryouts guide for upcoming tryout dates and helpful tryout information.
